Rockbeat Fashions are designed and “passionately” made by Linda Micallef. Linda has had extensive training from a wide range of “specialist” teachers in dressmaking and designing for dance wear. Assisting dancers with costumes for competition dancing (mainly rock n roll and swing) is her passion and every stitch sewn is done with great care and diligence.
Our fashions are designed mainly for dancing but are also enjoyed by Ladies and Gentlemen who want to wear “well made” and “striking” clothing. The trend of the 40”s & 50”s is ever lasting and can be enjoyed by all ages. We have a few designs from the 1930’s.

YOU CAN CHOOSE!
Yes, you can design your own dress, making it individual to you alone. No other website offers this choice to their customers. Changing and selecting fabric, colours and styles from any of the fashion pages to create your individual outfit.
CHANGE IT!
Any of the fashions you see on our website can be changed to your preference of style. For example, you might like a particular top with a particular skirt; or you might like a dress made in a different fabric colour that is shown on another dress. Change the collars and sleeves as you want.
YOU CAN DO IT!
Yes, you can place your order telling us your preference. We will then quote you a price, which may not be too different to the price showing, it just depends upon the fabric and style change you want.
FABRICS: Any of the fabrics you see on the website can be used to make your Dress. Choose from Spots, Checks, Stripes, Winston Satins, Shantung Satins, Polyester Satins, Crystal Organza, Spandex, Lycra, Polyester Cottons, Polyester Chiffon, Disco Glitter, Poplin (good quality) as well as a selection of miscellaneous fabrics that are one off cuts. You can even buy your own fabric and send it to us.
COLOURS: Want a particular colour? Mention it in the drop down boxes and we will search for you.
PETTICOATS: Can be made from Organza, Poplin, Netting, Lace or our most popular - Nylon. We have a wide range of colours in stock. You can mix your colours to either Bold Harlequin or Pastel Harlequin.
JACKETS: Our most popular jacket is the double or single sided Emperor/Bridal Satin with or without embroidery on the back and your name on the front. You can even have your own design on the back. Send us a picture by email and we will quote you for the work.
LADIES’ TROUSERS: Are best made to measure, but we can work around your measurements provided. We use a fabric with a slight stretch and easy to care for. Same for the Hollywood style shorts. They are sized for swing dancing, so they have room to kick out and up.
MEN’S TROUSERS: Our standard Swing Trousers are slightly baggy, turned up cuffs, with pleats in the front and a variety of pockets, lined to the knees and made of excellent quality fabric to last many a year. If you want extra baggy, you just need to tell us. Why not match it with a smart looking Vest?
DELIVERY: Your garment will be ready for pick-up or delivery between 4-6 weeks from date of payment for order, depending upon availability of fabric. Made from the measurements you supply you can be confident that the garment you receive will be the “Talk of the Town”.
